The CA Supreme Court Upholds its Gay Marriage Ruling, denying a petition to stay the decision.
This clears the way for George Takei (Star Trek's Sulu) to marry his partner Brad Altman in Los Angeles in September. (Capt. Kirk, William Shatner, was not invited!)
