Harold Ford Jr. Heckled at Netroots Nation Conference

Harold Ford Jr. Heckled at Netroots Nation

HFJ, the leader of the DLC (the Republican wing of the Democratic Party) was heckled at the Netroots Nation conference in Austin during a discussion of FISA, Obama and the Democratic Party. The loudest response came when HFJ praised his former colleagues at the right-wing Fox News network, where he served as a pundit.

He also explained to the conference that sometimes "Democrats" have to take positions that a lot of Democrats don't like to win elections in conservative elections. Ford lost a race for the U.S. Senate in Tennessee in which he ran a campaign that embraced many conservative positions, especially against gay marriage.

Apparently, Harold Ford thinks homophobia is politically expedient!

For another conference participant's observation of the "debate" between Markos and HFJ, see The Debate That Wasn't

Harold Ford is as gay as goose shit is green!

He reminds me of the gay jocks in high school, who avoided the out gay guys at all costs, but now, in our adult lives, wanna be friends.

Harold Ford is disgusting. His entire loathsome family is disgusting.

But the icing on the cake is that Harold Ford lost his election. How did the position he took help him?
