Hagee Apologizes for Anti-Catholic Statements
John McCain's spiritual advisor John Hagee apologized for his anti-Catholic statements, calling the Catholic Church the "Great Whore," but has not apologized for saying that hurricane Katrina was God's judgment on homosexuals in New Orleans.

Most of the gay people that I know are pretty well-off financially. So most of the homosexuals in New Orleans had the means to escape safely. The people hurt the most be "God's wrath" were poor black people, a demographic that is generally not too gay-friendly. So, even if I were some freak that thought that God had it out for gay people, the New Orleans theory just doesn't make sense.
Now New Orleans does have a lot of Catholics . . . (just kidding)
