Why Ronald Reagan's Legacy Should Be Vilified Not Sanctified

I survived the dark ages of Ronald Reagan in the 1980s, thousands of gay people did not, thanks in part to his lack of concern or action to address the AIDS epidemic.

In his speeches and writings, Reagan showed a lack of empathy or understanding of LGBT people, and displayed a great deal of disdain toward us.

This article explains why he is one of the most hated American presidents in the gay community.
